This list is sorted by the operation's code name. It should be noted that code names cannot be the names of people still alive. It cannot refer to success-you can't have 'Operation Wonderful'-for respect of the victims of the battle on either side. Nor can it refer to failure (like Operation Tragic) because it depresses those about to fight.
