Operation Cooney

During World War II, Operation Cooney was a raid conducted by eighteen three-man French commando teams dropped between St. Malo and Vanes[?] on the night of 7 June 1944.

The teams scattered throughout Brittany destroying railroad targets.

The raiders then joined the base established by the Dingson team. Part of Overlord.
