Redirected from Maori mythology
The early religion of Hawaii is called Huna. In Huna, each person had two souls. One (unihi-pili[?]) went to the underworld after death. The other, aumakua, joined the deceased's ancestors in the heavens.
Rangi and Papa are the two most important gods. Also important are Maui, Atea.
