Kapo

In Polynesian mythology (specifically: Hawaii), Kapo is a goddess of fertility and mother of Laka. Her parents are Haumea and Kane Milohai.


Kapo also stands for Kameradenpolizei, and refers to individuals who have been recruited by an enemy to police their own people. The term was used to describe concentration camp prisoners, who were appointed to supervise other prisoners. It has since become derogatory.
