There are several states in Germany, and each has its own specialities.
Specialties by region:
- Weisswuerste ('white sausages' - a speciality from Munich, traditionally eaten before 12 o'clock)
- Bier (Beer)
- Knödel (made from potatoes or white bread)
- Schweinsbraten[?]
- Kohl und Pinkel

- Hasenpfeffer (rabbit stew)
- Schweinshaxe (Pork hock)
- Sauerkraut (pickled cabbage)
