Christopher Lee

Christopher Frank Carandini Lee (born May 27, 1922) is a distinguished British actor.

Lee became famous for his role as Count Dracula in a string of Hammer Horror films. Other notable films include The Wicker Man and The Man With the Golden Gun[?]. Lee is now over 80 years old, and still appearing in films such as The Lord of the Rings and Attack of the Clones. He was in the BBC series Gormenghast, where he played Flay.

Lee appeared on the cover of the Wings album Band on the Run[?] along with other people, including Clement Freud.

Christopher Lee is also the most linkable actor in the Internet Movie Database. The average Lee number of a film actor is 2.623 (compared to Bacon's 2.917), and the maximum finite Lee number possible is 9, compared to Bacon's 10. Lee's linkability is probably due to the huge number of appearances he has made, starring in 228 films (ranging from 1948 to 2003) and has had 29 'notable' television appearances.

Lee volunteered to fight for the Finnish forces during the Winter War against the Soviet Union in 1939.
