Warcraft

Warcraft: Orcs & Humans is a real-time strategy computer game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment in 1994. It is for the PC and runs under the DOS operating system.

In this game, bloodthirsty orcs—denizens of another dimension—discover a portal allowing them to enter the largely peaceful human kingdom of Azeroth[?]. Eventually, they overrun the kingdom, leading to the first sequel of this game (Warcraft II). In the sequel, the orcs are attacking Lorderon[?], the kingdom north of Azeroth where the survivors from Azeroth have taken refuge.

The player could play as either the orcs or humans.

Blizzard has produced two sequels: Warcraft II and Warcraft III. Blizzard also worked on a game called Warcraft Adventures[?], a role playing game set in the Warcraft universe. It was cancelled, however, as Blizzard felt its quality was substandard for one of their games.
