Greetings and salutations (in the words of Charlotte from Charlotte's Web[?])!

I am Addis. (Note I said "I am ..." as opposed to "My name is ..." -- very important). My name comes from Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, or so my father tells me. Online, I am known as ciudadlejana. This name comes from a verse of a favorite song of mine ("Estrella de mar" -- los Fabulosos Cadillacs).

I was born in Houston, Texas and lived there for some years. I've also resided in Baytown and Highlands, but am now in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where I study at the University of Puerto Rico. I'm currently in my fourth year, no where near a graduation date or a career, but that is fine with me.

I aspire to be a Renaissance woman[?] of sorts. I want to do everything. EVERYTHING. (Well, most everything.) Be a writer. Be an artist (traditional; digital; experimental). Be (am?) a musician (cellist). The list could go on ... and it will. Just not now.
