Ulrike Eleonora of Sweden

Ulrike Eleonora, or Ulrika Eleonora, (February 29, 1688 - 1741), Queen of Sweden from 1718 - 1720, born the daughter of Charles XI of Sweden (1655 - 1697) and Ulrika Eleonore of Denmark[?] (1656 - 1693). She was the sister of Charles XII of Sweden (1682 - 1718).

In 1715 she married Landgrave Friedrich I of Hesse-Kassel who followed her on the throne, becoming King Frederick I of Sweden. There were no children of this marriage. Queen Ulrike Eleonora died of smallpox.
