Tony Leung Chiu Wai

Tony Leung Chiu Wai (born June 27, 1962) is a Hong Kong movie actor.

Born in Hong Kong. In 1982, after passing the training courses of TVB, Tony became a TV actor and got famous by his comedy style in a number of TV series. During his career he soon showed his versatility in about 60 films.

After he starred in several movies directed by Wong Kar-wai such as Chungking Express (1995) and Happy Together (1997), he began to be widely accepted by his talent and finally received the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival for his outstanding performance in In the Mood for Love (2000).

Besides his acting career, he is also known as a singer.
