The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming

The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming is a 1966 film which tells the story of the comedic chaos which occurs when a Soviet submarine accidentally runs aground near a small New England town. It stars Carl Reiner, Eva Marie Saint, Alan Arkin, Brian Keith[?], Jonathan Winters, Paul Ford[?], Theodore Bikel[?], Tessie O'Shea[?] and John Phillip Law[?].

The movie was adapted by Nathaniel Benchley[?] from the novel by William Rose[?]. It was directed by Norman Jewison.

It was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Alan Arkin), Best Film Editing, Best Picture and Best Writing, Screenplay Based on Material from Another Medium.
