New England

New England is the name of two different regions of the world:

  1. In the United States, New England is the region made up of the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
  2. In Australia, New England[?] is the area in the north of the state of New South Wales, somewhat inland and centered around Armidale.

Both areas are named for England.
