The Right Honourable (abbreviated "The Rt. Hon.") is an honorific prefix for senior politicians in some Commonwealth Realms. In Britain, the title is held to every member of the Privy Council. In the Republic of Ireland, though the Irish Privy Council was effectively abolished in 1922, the Lord Mayor of Dublin still uses the honorific.
