The Pride of the Yankees

The Pride of the Yankees is a 1942 biographical film which tells the story of New York Yankees star Lou Gehrig. It stars Gary Cooper, Teresa Wright, Babe Ruth (as himself), Walter Brennan[?], Dan Duryea[?], Elsa Janssen[?] and Ludwig Stössel[?].

The movie was adapted by Herman J. Mankiewicz[?], Casey Robinson[?] (uncredited) and Jo Swerling[?] from a story by Paul Gallico[?]. It was directed by Sam Wood[?].
