Marlborough College

Marlborough College is a British boarding school in the county of Wiltshire, founded in 1843 for the education of the sons of clergy, although it is now mixed. There are now just over 800 pupils, approximately one third of whom are girls. New pupils are admitted at the ages of 13+ ("Shell entry") and 16 (Lower Sixth).

The college is dominated by its Victorian Gothic style chapel.

The school made the news in an embarrassing way in 2002, when a teacher invigilating for pupils sitting a mock AS-level[?] examination accidentally displayed pornographic images of women to them, forgetting that his personal computer was linked up to a monitor.

It is alleged [1] (http://groups.google.com/groups?dq=&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&selm=hTSW9.3554%249R.12208809%40newsr2.u-net.net) that Princess Eugenie of York and the actress Emma Watson will be starting at the school in the summer of 2003.
