Eureka

Eureka is the name of several places in the United States of America:

It is also a famous exclamation, by Archimedes, when he suddenly understood buoyancy. "Eureka" means "I have found it!" It is the state motto of California, referring to the momentous discovery of gold near Sutter's Mill in 1848.

It is also the name of an asteroid co-orbital with Mars, 5261 Eureka[?] (see also 3753 Cruithne)

It is also the name of the European Union's research and development organization, see EUREKA.
