Redirected from Bellona
Bellona, in Roman mythology, was much more popular than Enyo in Greece. Her name comes from the bellum meaning "war." There was a temple to her on the Capitolinus[?] (built: 296 BC; burned down: 48 BC). A festival devoted to Bellona took place on June 3.
In art, Bellona was displayed with a sword, helmet, spear and torch.
Both Bellona and Enyo may be of Etruscan origin.
