Chief occupations are farming, forestry, wood processing (sawmill, chemical and mechanical wood processing), cardboard packaging, metal industry, chemicals and synthetic material processing. Belisce is located on the regional road.
This industrial town upon the Drava river[?] lies near the border with Hungary.
There is a small preserved part of the once vast Slavonian forests of oak. A section of the working-class quarters of Salamon H. Gutman from 1884 is a part of the present-day Belisce. Major recreational activities include angling on the Drava river and its backwaters and hunting in the broader surroundings.
