Woman of the Year

Woman of the Year is a 1942 romantic comedy film in which a feminist, chosen "Woman of the Year", tries to keep the spark in her personal relationship. It stars Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn, Fay Bainter, Reginald Owen[?], Minor Watson[?] and William Bendix[?].

It was written by Ring Lardner Jr. and Michael Kanin[?] and directed by George Stevens.

It won an Academy Award for Best Writing, Original Screenplay and was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role. In 1999 the film was deemed "culturally significant" by the United States Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the National Film Registry.
