Wetteren

Wetteren is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Massemen[?], Westrem[?] and Wetteren proper. On January 1st, 2000 Wetteren had a total population of 22,795 (11,039 males and 11,756 females). The total area is 36.69 km² which gives a population density of 621.29 inhabitants per km².
