In Quebec, the Parti Quebecois government renamed the holiday Dollard des Ormeaux[?] Day, and in 2002 changed that to la Fête des Patriotes in honour of the Patriotes Rebellion. Most anglophone Quebecers continue to call it Victoria Day.
