Veldhoven

Veldhoven (population: 42,723) is a town in the southern Netherlands, in the province of North Brabant. The municipality, which is located just southwest of Eindhoven, covers an area of 31.92 km² (of which 0.09 km² water).

The municipality of Veldhoven also includes the following towns, villages and townships: Meerveldhoven[?], Oerle[?], Zeelst[?].

Veldhoven hosts the headquarters of the manufacturer of high-tech(semiconductor) lithography equipment ASML[?]. ASML occupies the highest (83 meters) building in Veldhoven.

Eindhoven Airport is located nearby Veldhoven on the border with Meerhoven.
