He KQ ! I had an idea. Would you mind me using your tree picture for a while on my user page ? I think it would be great with my current quote :-) Is it ok by you ? (I have been telling myself for a year and a half now that I should have a neat and proper user page. Mine is a messy place). Ant

The photo of lavender I posted I got off of http://gimp-savvy.com. I really have no idea if it is really lavender, I just trusted that it was. When I have some time, I will look into it, however, you can do it yourself if you like. There were other images of lavender on http://gimp-savvy.com, so feel free to suggest one of those instead. Sorry, I spoil your page, but your are already at 31 ko :-(

Ok, look at this and be amazed (if you are not, pretend to be :-))) jk)

The top one is the best. Look at the larger image. You can even see the pilosity on the legs :-) Just the end of it if a bit blurry, but well !
The second one is not as good, but, I succeeded to get it wings open, which took me quite a while (and I won't explain my position then, just notice, there is water under...fear for the camera). I tried to get them from the top, but since there is no way to fixe the focus, the body was to thin and I always got the stone.

And I did not even take time to drink a beer this evening. Spend it playing a computer game :-))) Have a good end of day. User:anthere

crumbs. I am off changing the legend then :-)

but...what is the difference really ??? The picture on the dragonfly looks pretty similar...how do you know one from the other ???

Don't worry, I didnot receive it as a metaphor. And did not intend to put it as a metaphor. But right now, in truth, that is how I feel. I'll answer to your questions later. This is an odd hour for you to be connected :-) Off to work I am. See ya Ant

Er... know what you're doing, but I'd rather you leave me a note and let me make my own changes to my talk page re: JHK. Not a big issue, but a bit intrusive, I guess. john 07:26 1 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Thanks for the vote of support regarding accessibility. Even if you aren't technically inclined on such matters, it'd be great to have your input. If you've ever run afoul of anything I've done, I haven't noticed :) -- Wapcaplet 00:38 2 Jul 2003 (UTC)
Good point. I'll have to google whether "Food porn" or "food pornography" is the more common term. Actually google groups may be the more representative place to count uses. Anyway, it is a newly coined word gaining currency with the proliferation of cooking shows like Iron Chef which are less educational and more exultative of the spectacle of the thing. -- Cimon Avaro on a pogo-stick 01:42 3 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Food porn ? What is it ? A carrot stick ?

Anyway. The camera is a Nikon coolpix 775. But as I told you, a new one got on the market. The two things I regret are 1) the deletion of images on the camera itself is quite slow. Usually, you don't need to use it though, unless you are on a long trip and are lacking space. I do not use it full precision (not even :-)), and can usually store between 100 and 120 pictures. The second point is about the focus, that is not manual. But this of course is a professional feature you can only find on much much more expensive ones. :-) Still, that would be a nice present for a diploma. User:anthere
