USS Nebraska

At least two ships of the United States Navy have borne the name Nebraska, after the 37th state.

A United States naval vessel, it is named for the State of Nebraska. It was made by the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics Corporation, Groton, Connecticut. It is imortalized in the book Big Red By Douglas C. Walker.
