Uppland, or Uplandia, is a traditional province or landskap on the eastern coast of Sweden. It borders to S�dermanland, V�stmanland and G�strikland. It is also bounded by lake M�laren and the Baltic sea.

The historical province of Uppland is divided upon the County of Uppsala, which occupies the heartland, the County of Stockholm, which has claimed about a third of the territory in the south and the County of V�stmanland, taking a quarter in the west.
