Torshavn

Tórshavn (Danish: Thorshavn) is the capital of the Faeroe Islands, a territory of Denmark. The city is located on Streymoy[?] island and has 16,000 inhabitants.

The city was founded in the 10th century CE, and was temporarily occupied during World War II by the British (1942-1945).
