Tom DeLay

Tom Delay (born April 8, 1947) is a Texan politican.

Delay was first elected in 1978 as a Republican to the United States House of Representatives. In 1994 he was elected by his Republican colleagues to be Majority Whip[?]. With the retirement of fellow Texan Richard Armey[?] from the House, Delay was selected to by House Majority Leader for the 108th Congress[?].

The congressman is well known for his staunch conservative stances in foreign and domestic policy.
