The Skywalker family

In the Star Wars universe, the Skywalker family is the family started by Shmi Skywalker on Tatooine. Shmi's son, Anakin Skywalker, was apparently born with the help of The Force. As a Jedi Knight, Anakin married Padme Amidala, who gave birth to twins, Luke and Leia. Luke was raised on Tattooine by his aunt and uncle while Leia was raised by Bail Organa on Alderaan.

In the Star Wars novels, Leia married Han Solo and had three children, Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin. Luke eventually married Mara Jade and had a son named Ben.
