Luke Skywalker
Luke Skywalker, a Jedi Knight, is a major character in the Star Wars fictional universe.

He is the son of Padme Amidala and Anakin Skywalker, and brother of Princess Leia. In the movie The Empire Strikes Back the audience finds out that his father, whom Luke believed was killed by Darth Vader, was in fact Vader himself.
He is the main character of A New Hope, where he helps rescue Princess Leia, carrying the plans for the Death Star to the Rebel Alliance and leading the starfighter attack on it with the aid of "The Force".
