The Keys of the Kingdom

The Keys of the Kingdom is a 1944 film which tells the story of a young priest who struggles to establish a mission in China. It stars Gregory Peck, Thomas Mitchell[?], Vincent Price, Rose Stradner[?], Roddy McDowall, Edmund Gwenn[?], Philip Ahn[?], Cedric Hardwicke and Peggy Ann Garner[?].

The movie was adapted by Nunnally Johnson[?] and Joseph L. Mankiewicz[?] from the novel by A.J. Cronin. It was directed by John M. Stahl[?].

It was nominated for Academy Awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role (Gregory Peck), Best Art Direction-Interior Decoration, Black-and-White, Best Cinematography, Black-and-White and Best Music, Scoring of a Dramatic or Comedy Picture.
