Son of Scamander and Icaea[?], Teucer was the legendary ancestor of the Trojans. Hence Trojans were sometimes referred to as "Teucrians". This Teucer fought on the side of theTrojans against the Greeks. Apollodorus. Bibliotheke III, xii, 1.
