Suiyuan

A part of Inner Mongolia since 1954, Suiyuan (綏遠 in pinyin: sui1 yuan3) was a Chinese province. It became a part of Mengjiang from 1937 to 1945 under Japanese rule. Suiyuan's capital was Hohhot.

The province is named after a district in the capital established in the Qing Dynasty.
