Starpath

Starpath was founded in 1981 under the name "Arcadia Corporation," but changed its name to Starpath shortly after, due to copyright reasons. Starpath is known for creating the Starpath Supercharger in 1982. This add-on for the Atari 2600 expanded the machine capabilities adding additional RAM and allowing for higher resolution graphics and larger games. Games were stored on audiocassettes.

Starpath merged with Epyx[?] in 1983.

Rights to Starpath games are currently owned by Bridgestone Multimedia[?], a religious multimedia company.
