Slippery Rock University

Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania (known as SRU for short) is an American university, and a member of the State System of Higher Education of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania[1] (http://www.sru.edu/). It is located in the borough of Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. It opened on March 26, 1889, as Slippery Rock State Normal School[2] (http://www.sru.edu/pages/118.asp).

According to its website, the university has one of the largest campuses in western Pennsylvania, occupying 600 acres.
