Season of the Going Out

The Season of the Going Out is the ancient Egyptian Summer and during this period the farmers would plow their fields. The term, "Going Out" refers to the receding of the Nile floodwaters. This season was followed by the Season of the Harvest and occurred after the Season of the Inundation
