Season of the Harvest

The Season of the Harvest is the ancient Egyptian Fall and follows the Season of the Going Out. During this period the Egyptians would use flint knives and sickles[?] to cut off grain heads and collect the grain into sacks which were carried to the granaries and beaten with a flail[?]. Wind winnowing would then separate the grain from the chaff[?].
