Sankaramanchi

Satyam Sankaramanchi is a storyteller who was born in the tiny village of Amaravati, in Andhra Pradesh, India. He started telling all of his stories by weaving a whole new world around this tiny village Amaravati. His style is very similar to that of the Russian writer Anton Chekhov.

Amaravati Kathalu is regarded widely as one of the best short story series in Telugu.

It has also been televised by the movie maker Shyam Benegal[?].
