Rosewater

Rosewater is a flavouring agent used in Middle Eastern cuisine[?]. It is made by soaking fresh rose petals in distilled water, and it has a very distinctive flavour. A few drops can permeate an entire dish with a strong floral scent, so it needs to be used with caution.

Rosewater gives loukoumia their distinctive flavour.

Orangewater[?] is also made in the same manner.
