Rio Grande do Norte

Rio Grande do Norte is one of the states of Brazil, located in the northeastern part of the country, on the edge of South American continent. It has an area of 53,015 sq. km. and a population of approximately 2,400,000. During World War II, Rio Grande do Norte was used as US-allied airbase to attack German-occupied Africa.
