Raquel Welch (b. September 5, 1940), is a United States actress. Welch was one of the leading sex symbols of the 1960s and 1970s.

Raquel Welch was born in Chicago, Illinois as Jo Raquel Tejada, the child of immigrants from Bolivia. Welch became one of the leading sex symbols of the 1960s and 1970s.
