Nelly

Nelly ( born November 2, 1978) is a rapper. Born Cornell Haynes Jr. in St. Louis, Missouri, he first came to mainstream audiences with Country Grammar[?] (2000), a mainstream success that set the stage for his breakthrough album, Nellyville[?]. Nellyville established him as one of the most famous rappers in the early 2000s. The 2002 single "Hot in Herre" was also tremendously popular, as was its follow-up, "Dilemma," which featured vocals by Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child.

In early 2003, Nelly released the controversial single, "Air Force Ones[?]". MTV, MTV2, and VH1 refused to air the video due to product placement for the popular sneakers of the same name. Their sister station, BET, however played it in heavy rotation. It was also a moderate radio hit, although not on the level of its two massive predecessors.

In this same year Nelly Came out with another single called Pimp juice. This is his latest single out and is being played on the radio. Nelly also made a video that is played on 106andpark and on vh1 on channel 70 and 43. Nelly also had Snoop Dogg and birth dad in the video staring as pimps. He has a recently bought a Cadillac that he gave to his father because he always wanted one. Nelly is one of the few African Americans the have mad it to the top, and is making a good rowel model for other people.
