Nebraska Cornhuskers

The Nebraska Cornhuskers, or Huskers, form the college football team at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln[?]. The term properly applies to any sports team at the school, but without any other qualifier, it almost always refers to the football team.

Husker football has been around since the 1890s. In the late 1990s, Nebraska became the only team to win three NCAA Division I national titles within 4 years. The team also won many Big Twelve Conference championships in that decade. Famous players from Nebraska include Scott Frost[?], Tommy Frazier[?], Eric Crouch[?], and Turner Gill[?].
