La Trobe University

La Trobe University is a multicampus university with campuses in Melbourne (about 16000 students), Bendigo (about 5000 students), Albury-Wodonga (about 2000 students) and minor campuses at Mildura[?], Shepparton[?], Beechworth[?] and Mount Buller[?]. The University was established in 1967 as Melbourne's third university. As a result of the higher education reforms of the late 1980s, it amalgamated with the Bendigo College of Advanced Education and Wodonga Institute of Advanced Education to acquire a range of regional campuses.

The University offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs from the Faculties of Science, Technology & Engineering; Health Sciences; Humanities & Social Sciences; Law & Management; and the Bendigo-based multidisciplinary Faculty for Regional Development.
