Koryak

A reindeer-herding group of nomads in eastern Siberia occupying a wide neck of land between the Sea of Okhotsk on the west and the Bering[?] Sea on the east. To the north are their close relatives, the Chukchi in the Chukchi peninsula and, to the south, the distantly related Kamchadal on the peninsula of Kamchatka. Koryak and its dialect, Alyutor, are linguistically very close to Chukchi.
