Gardena is a city located in Bottineau County, North Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 38.

Geography Gardena is located at 48°42'1" North, 100°29'55" West (48.700252, -100.498488)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.9 km² (0.3 mi²). 0.9 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 38 people, 13 households, and 7 families residing in the city. The population density is 44.5/km² (115.6/mi²). There are 21 housing units at an average density of 24.6/km² (63.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 97.37% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 2.63% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 2.63% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 13 households out of which 30.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.5% are married couples living together, 0.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 38.5% are non-families. 30.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 15.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.92 and the average family size is 4.00.

In the city the population is spread out with 36.8% under the age of 18, 18.4% from 18 to 24, 13.2% from 25 to 44, 26.3% from 45 to 64, and 5.3% who are 65 years of age or older.
