Gao Xingjian

Gao Xingjian (高行健 in pinyin: gao1 xing2 jiang4) is a Chinese language storyteller, translator, dramatist, director, critic, and artist and winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2000. He was born on January 4, 1940 in Ganzhou[?], Jiangxi province, China and is now a French citizen.
