Four Books
The Four books are four classical Chinese writings selected by Zhu Xi in the Song dynasty to serve as an introduction to Chinese philosophy. The four books are:
- the Great Learning
- the Analects of Confucius[?]
- the Golden Mean[?]
- the works of Mencius
