Everingham

Everingham is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, west of Market Weighton[?] and south of Pocklington[?].

It has two churches, both dedicated to St. Everilda[?], a 7th century saint who founded a convent here: St. Everilda's (Church of England) and St. Mary's and St. Everilda's (Roman Catholic). There is only one other church in Britain dedicated to this saint, at Nether Poppleton, City of York.
