Ernest Chuard

Ernest Chuard (July 31, 1857 - November 9, 1942) was a Swiss politician.

He was elected to the Federal Council of Switzerland on December 11, 1919 and handed over office on December 31, 1928. He was affiliated to the Free Democratic Party. During his office time he held the Department of Home Affairs[?].

He was president of Switzerland in 1924.
