Dornford Yates

Dornford Yates was the pseudonym of the British novelist, Cecil William Mercer (1885-1960).

He was born in London, England, and educated at Harrow and the University of Oxford. His books are humorous adventures, including:

  • Berry and Co (1921)
  • Jonah and Co (1922)
